Kiplin Metals Inc. is pleased to announce that after an exhaustive review of high-grade Uranium projects, we have secured the rights to acquire a one-hundred percent interest in the Cluff Lake Road (CLR) Uranium Project in Saskatchewan’s prolific Athabasca Basin. We recognize that clean and reliable nuclear power will play a significant role in society’s transition to carbonfree energy sources and we couldn’t be more excited to be joining our neighboring uranium producers to be a part of this important solution.

To meet their climate goals, China has already committed $440 billion to build 150 new nuclear reactors, which is more than the rest of the world has built in the past 35 years. The United States, United Kingdom, France, Canada, and India have also all been making significant new investments into their own nuclear infrastructure and advanced reactor technologies.

Our CLR Uranium project is located just south of the historic Cluff Lake Mine, which produced approximately 62 million pounds of yellowcake uranium over its lifetime. The nearby Shea Creek Deposit, located approximately 30km northwest of the CLR Project, has an indicated mineral resource of 67.66 million pounds of uranium (2,067,900 tonnes grading 1.48% U3O8) and an inferred mineral resource of 28.19 million pounds of U3O8 (1,272,200 tonnes grading 1.01% U3O8) (Technical Report by Eriks P. Geo. 2013).

With more than 37 years of senior management experience and having co-founded Athabasca Uranium Inc which aggregated over 60,000 hectares of prime exploration property and discovered uranium on the Keefe Lake Property, our new CEO, Gilbert Schneider is keen to get to work on this new project. “I’m excited about this project and the opportunities that it brings amidst the unprecedented global interest in Uranium for new and existing Nuclear Power projects,” said Mr. Schneider.

The company is currently reviewing the geological similarities between the CLR Uranium Project and our local neighbors and looks forward to releasing more information about our planned exploration activities in the coming weeks.
